I am a full-time English teacher located in South London. I am an outgoing person who really enjoys meeting new people from all walks of life.

Tutoring Experience

I am a Qualified English Teacher (I obtained my PGDE in English from UCL) and have been a full-time teacher for over three years. I work with young people from the ages of 11-16, with a range of needs and abilities. I have a great understanding and knowledge of the AQA exam board for GCSE English Language and Literature, so you can be confident that your child will know exactly what they need to do for their exams.

I recognise that inspiring and educating young people is such a privilege. It would be an absolute honour to share my practice and knowledge from inside the classroom with your child.

Tutoring Approach

I am willing to listen and understand how your child likes to learn in order to provide a tailored approach. In my experience, I have learnt that patience and kindness are the two key elements of a great teacher who can get their students onboard. When tutoring your child, I can ensure you that they will be learning in a motivational and safe space.

In order to understand your child's strengths and areas for development, I'd like to go through a past paper with them and then create a plan of action for future tutoring sessions. I am also open to setting additional homework each week for your child if you wish.

I am willing to travel or complete sessions online.
