I live in Paisley and also teach in the local area. I have 2 children, a daughter of 29and a son of 26. I have been tutoring for a number of years.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching in the secondary education sector for the past 36 years and teach all business education subjects to advanced higher level ie administration, accounting, business management and economics. I currently teach the CfE course at N4, N5 Higher and Advanced Higher and achieve excellent results on an ongoing basis. I also mark the assignment and exam paper for the new Higher Business Management and this gives me a great deal of insight into technique and what examiners are looking for. I am a teacher based in Scotland so I do not tutor pupils in the English system.

Tutoring Approach

I have course notes, questions, past papers and practice papers for all subjects but am happy to use materials that students have from their own establishment. I also have access to practice Unit Assessments so that extensive work can be carried out with students before Assessment dates. I have an easy-going, approachable manner and am happy to adapt to students' specific needs.
