Information About Ann - Bicester tutor - (4 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Ann:
I am passionate about languages not only for academic reasons but also for personal development and enjoyment. Before becoming a teacher I worked as a midwife in Switzerland and Germany, where I developed my French and German language abilities. This experience gave me a good inter-cultural understanding, and a strong belief that languages really can take you further!
I am a qualified teacher of Modern Foreign Languages and have experience of preparing pupils for GCSE and A level examinations. I have taught French, German and Spanish in secondary schools, and French in adult education. I am currently teaching French,Spanish and German in Primary schools.
When taking on students I establish what their needs are in terms of current ability and desired outcome of tuition. I believe that language learning should be fun and use a variety of activities to help students achieve their goals. I tailor lessons to students' needs, whether academic, personal or professional. I use a variety of teaching methods and resources, according to needs, learning style and time available. I am a patient teacher, and enjoy helping students make progress in their language-learning.
