My approach to tutoring works around the philosophy that confident students in Mathematics are more likely to make progress in the subject. If enjoyment is there students tend to do better. My aim is to build the confidence so that the student can develop their mathematical understanding with a solid base.In 2014 , 2015 and 2016 all tutees achieved higher than target grades.

we have paid the initial fee of £14.99 but haven't heard anything since. I presumed everything was ok but this message has been prompted by First Tutors.
As far as we are aware you will be coming to see Ella on Mon 10th Sept. Can you confirm a time now or nearer the date ?
Yes that is fine, think you need to contact me to let me have your address. I assume that you now have my email and contact details. Usually I would be able to see yours, but I cannot. The first week back in school is fine. Will sort out confirmed time and day once we have contact.
Andy came highly recommended and rightly so. He has been absolutely brilliant. My son's school were unable to provide a teacher for Sam so we contacted Andy about 4 weeks into the term and he agreed to tutor Sam.
On arrival Andy immediatley put Sam at ease and we have not looked back. Andy knows his subject inside out and has bent over backwards to help Sam, continuing to visit even when suffering with a chronic back problem and had difficulty walking.
He entered Sam in maths challenges and did all the admin. Andy has also advised Sam and ourselves on the continuation at Sixth Form and beyond.
I cannot praise Andy highly enough, highly committed, highly competent, one of the best teachers I have ever met. Thank you Andy.
I know this is a little late but Genna and I wanted to thank you again for your brilliant tutoring skills in GCSE maths. I can confirm that Genna obtained an A in her GCSE Maths exams.
Thank you again.
Thank you very much, Andy
We now have a girl willing to learn and engage with her tutor after all these years struggling. Andy has given her the confidence and encouragement she so needed. The future is bright and exciting!!
Thank you Andy
I wish we had considered using a personal tutor earlier in the academic year, as the benefits of structured revision and focusing on weak areas would have helped my son, in what has been a stressful first year of studies.
Andy is patient, encouraging and my daughter now knows she is going to pass her GCSE maths because she believes in her ability. Thank you Andy
