Andrew

I am a currently practicing Head of Physics in a top NI grammar school. I have extensive experience in teaching Physics at every level up to and including A2. I currently examine for the most popular examining board in Northern Ireland.
Fully qualified teacher, holding a 2:1 Honours degree from Queens University Belfast as well as a member of the General Teaching Council of Northern Ireland.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching Physics in a full-time and permanent capacity to GCSE and A Level for over a decade. This includes all ages, levels and CCEA Physics courses.

Tutoring Approach

A good tutor will develop the confidence of a pupil, helping them believe that they can succeed in any area of difficulty. Building self esteem, teaching a thoughtful approach and developing an understanding of the material instead of simply 'wrote-learning' is essential to quality teaching. Patience and empathy are vital qualities in encouraging a learning environment.
