I am a experience teacher and have also worked in business for 15 years. i left full time teaching in a secondary school in July 2020. For the past year I have been working online for the national tutoring programme teaching GCSE combined science and maths.In this role I have been very successful. I have always enjoyed working with students in 1:1 academic study.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught for 18 years. This includes teaching A level Biology for 3 years. 6 years of GCSE science and 6 years GCSE Maths. I am experience 11 years in mainstream secondary schools and 3 years at a school whose students were diagnosed with dyslexia, other language-based learning disabilities, executive function difficulties, or attention deficits that have created challenges for them in the past. I have 6 years of tutoring experience. I always approach each assignment with a degree of flexibility in order to ensure that the best possible results are achieved by my students

Tutoring Approach

I am enthusiastic, friendly and able to inspire children in a range of subjects. I am a good communicator with a kind and caring disposition, and a firm-but-fair approach to their work. I have an enquiring mind and a good sense of humour which i employ in order to get the best results from my students.
