I am a former UK Civil Servant with a BSc. in Politics and an M.A. in British History from the University of London, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a passion for teaching. I currently work as a Policy Adviser at the Law Society of England and Wales.
I’m an experienced tutor, having successfully worked with students at both secondary and university levels to prepare them for exams and help with thesis preparation. Other experiences include job-based mentoring and coaching and teaching English as a second language, and my education and career have given me a sophisticated understanding of British history, its laws, and contemporary politics.
I approach teaching by taking the time to learn each student’s needs and motivations and tailoring my approach accordingly. I believe effective teaching is a partnership and a good tutor should approach teaching believing he can learn as much from his students as they will from him. I am happy to teach all ages and levels whether learning’s for course work, exams, career, or just for fun.
