I am a Chemistry graduate of both Oxford and Cambridge universities, former BMAT examiner and Royal Society of Chemistry award-winner. I have successfully tutored students in Chemistry from GCSE to degree level for over four years.
I have tutored Physics (GCSE) and Chemistry (GCSE and A-level) to students taking their examinations in 2017 and 2018. Prior to tutoring at GCSE and A-level, I taught undergraduates at Cambridge University (2nd, 3rd and 4th year students) and have trained others in a one-to-one capacity in industry as a senior scientist and post-doctoral researcher.
In addition to tutoring, I also worked for Cambridge Assessments as an examiner for the BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT) for two seasons.
I focus on explaining the underlying concepts in Chemistry and Physics in a structured and logical fashion, topic by topic. The pace of the tutorial is tailored to the ability of the student and I work closely to the syllabus of your exam board using a variety of resources that I make available free of charge.
If you didn't get the results you expected in your mock or end-of-year exams, I can help identify areas where you can improve and provide coaching on the necessary skills to tackle examinations at GCSE, A-level and for later independent study at university.
