This is how 2 referees rated Anastassia:
My name is Anastassia. I was born and lived the first half of my life in the very western part of the former USSR – Kaliningrad region on the Baltic coast. There I absorbed “all things Russian” and submerged myself into the world of “all things English” at the age of 12.
The curiosity and fascination resulted in my 5 year degree in English Language and Literature (Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University), and consequently in 1996 brought me to the University of York (UK) for an MA course in Linguistics and English Language Teaching. Little did I know then that England will become my adoptive homeland.
I also hold a PG Diploma in Interpreting and Translating for International Business (University of Bradford), a PGCE in Secondary Modern Languages and a City & Guilds Group Teachers’ Certificate in Further and Adult Education.
I worked across community and secondary level education since 2000 teaching Russian and English as a second language.
My teaching methods are customized to learners' needs and need to be discussed during an initial (free of charge) session.
