I am a caring and patient teacher, who has taught both adults and children. I am professional and enthusiastic, I enjoy the challenge of teaching!

I am happy to teach both children and adults across a wide range of subjects!

Tutoring Experience

I have 20 years teaching experience. I began teaching adults and children EFL and have taught both here and abroad. I have taught beginner to advanced general English. I have also taught business English and English for academic purposes.

I have also taught within mainstream education, teaching at both primary and secondary level across a range of subjects.

I have also worked with children with EBD, who often display challenging behaviour and have worked with students excluded from mainstream education. I have taught English and History from KS3 to GCSE level. I have also prepared students for Functional English, which is a GCSE equivalent.

I have had experience preparing students for ESOL skills for life, speaking and listening exams and have also taught German for beginners in both secondary and further educational establishments.

Tutoring Approach

I have a very flexible approach to teaching, I will tutor at a pace that is comfortable to you! I am happy to teach either on a 1:1 or small group basis.
