I am a qualified Physics teacher who lives in Weybridge, Surrey. I am Head of Physics at a local school and offer GCSE physics tutoring to pupils who are struggling with physics in the classroom. I offer online tutoring on Zoom, and also face to face tutoring in Weybridge, Surrey. Tutees will need to travel to my home in Weybridge town centre for face to face lessons.
I use an online scheduling system which enables tutees' parents to see my availability and book lessons up to 60 days in advance. During school term time, I am typically only available for tutoring on Fridays (evening), Saturdays (day time) and Sundays (day time). During the school holidays I usually have more varied availability (including some sessions midweek during the day unless I am away on holiday). This applies to both online and face to face tutoring.

Tutoring Experience

I have been Head of Physics at my current school for more than ten years, and have seventeen years' of experience in teaching physics and science from ages 6 - 18. Before I was a teacher I worked for the government as a research scientist in the area of Space and Satellite Research.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is to work through real GCSE exam style questions, focussing on areas of difficulty as specified by the tutee and/or parent. If any misconceptions about certain areas of physics theory crop up, I will reteach these as necessary.
For online tutoring I teach using Zoom.
