I am an enthusiastic teacher and aim to make every lesson enjoyable and informative. I know it can be daunting learning a new language and I hope to make you feel at ease yet also challenge you in your learning. I use a range of resources, authentic materials and online sites.
I began working as a German teacher in 1990. I was employed by the Goethe Institute in Germany to tutor American air-force and army personnel and civilians.
Since moving back to Britain in 1996, I have taught business personnel in a number of leading companies, adults in a college setting (Brasshouse Language Centre and Stafford College) and private individuals at home.
I have also led numerous teacher training workshops for language teachers in college and county-wide.
With 27 years’ experience as a German teacher, I have optimised my own strategy for teaching effectively and accurately.
You might be learning German for business, to relocate, to pass a GCSE or A level or for pleasure. Whatever your motivation, I hope to be able to support your learning in an encouraging and effective way.
