Alex gave my daughter the confidence that she could be successful in her upcoming chemistry exams. He was patient and informative offering her ways to achieve the results she wanted and revising areas that she was unsure of. Thank you.

I wanted to update my feedback to say that my son has had several Skype sessions with Alex and I'm pleased to see they are as useful as in person sessions. The flexibility is of course an added bonus!

Alexandrer is an exceptional tutor… He helped my son to significantly improve his GCSE grades in Maths, Chemistry, Physics and English. We expect now my son to achieve only A and A*. He was prepared for each question my son had, from MEAL Paragraphs, to complex Maths, Chemistry and Physics issues. This shows that Alexander was very well prepared, but also he understood the information and he also has the gift of explaining all these complex concepts to others. He is a great source of inspiration for any student, since he is energetic, kind, professional, creating in the same time an excellent environment. He was a permanent source of motivation for my son. Very pleasant and enthusiastic, but our soon felt he did not 'connect' with the style of tutoring being offered.

Alex is an exceptional and energetic tutor and we are very grateful to have him tutor our daughter. Alex is extremely enthusiastic and well organised and has exceptional planning ability to guide the students through. He is definitely an all rounder and has helped my daughter in subject in addition to the sciences in her GCSE.

Alex is enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutor. From the few lessons my daughter had, he has explained complex areas of maths and helped her tackle challenging problems. My daughter is very much looking forward to her future lessons.

We have only completed a few sessions with Alexander, so it is early days, but my daughter says he is very passionate about the subjects, explains well, and provides great feedback! The lessons are always well organised, and the links with homework assignments after the tutoring session are very helpful. Overall a very positive start.

Alex, I've given you a middle level rating on the basis that Kit didn't lift his Chemistry AS enough to gain an A-C pass. He achieved an E. I'm not entirely sure whether this was due to your tutoring or Kits efforts at Chemistry, which was his weakest AS subject.

Alex has helped me a lot for my BMAT exam essay and has advised me a lot on preparing for studying Medicine at Uni. He is extremely friendly, has a unique teaching style and he dedicates a lot of time and effort to the lessons and I definitely recommend him to other Medicine applicants and A level students in general.

Although my son only had one session with Alex before the summer holidays with a view to carrying on on a regular basis after the summer, our circumstances have changed so we no longer need Alex for tutoring but first impressions from one meeting are a very well presented, friendly, and intelligent young man. He had a good rapport with my son (age 15) and made him feel at ease so I'm sure he makes a great tutor for young students.

Alex is an enthusiastic and inspiring tutor for our son who has been preparing for the 11+. My son really looks forward to the lessons and comes back reassured about areas he was unclear on and enthusiastic about the discussions he has had. Alex provides constructive feedback and follow-up emails suggesting online tutorial sites that shore up the topics covered.

Alex was friendly yet professional and helped my son a great deal with his biology revision. I would definitely recommend Alex.

Alex has been fantastic from the word go. Not only has my son's skill level increased, so has his confidence. The requirement for my daughter was a tutor who could help and guide on individual topics, I was not looking for a teacher who would systematically go through the syllabus.

The structure of each session has been for Alex to ask what areas are giving concern. A discussion would then ensue with my daughter whilst being challenged by Alex to explain further and fully develop the subject. Any questions would be targeted, guiding my daughter to the correct answer.

Such an approach complements my daughter’s teaching and has improved her knowledge and understanding of Biology.

Alex is attentive, calm and patient throughout each session, and the only issue that we have had is that the time-slot has changed on a few occasions.

He is a tutor I would highly recommend.

Alex has been tutoring my son (in year 10 at school) for 5 months so far - in physics and chemistry.
