I am a family orientated man based in South Lincolnshire. I have a love of languages going back to my school days. I am keen on amateur dramatics although most of my spare time is taken up by my 6 year-old daughter.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 25 years’ teaching experience, mainly in Spanish and French (to all secondary school ages and abilities), English (key stage 3), and English as a Foreign Language (to children and adults both in this country and abroad). I have been tutoring for eleven plus and independent school scholarship exams for a year now, plus Spanish and French to all levels, with great success.
I am a visiting speaking examiner for AS and A level and a team leader/examiner for GCSE with two of the principal examination boards. I am also a marker and invigilator of eleven plus exams.

Tutoring Approach

I tailor all my tuition to the needs and abilities of my students. I combine a friendly, good-humoured approach with a clear set of learning aims, so that my tutees gain a real sense of progress as well as enjoyment.
