I have had 3 beginner German on-line lessons with Adam and would highly recommend him. His communication to organise sessions is clear and very punctual. He has put effort into tailoring the lessons to my level of ability and requests, and has provided clear handouts of everything covered. Thank you Adam.

I have really enjoyed french lessons with Adam. The lessons are friendly, engaging and precise, and I have gained a lot more confidence with my language skills over the last few months. Would definitely recommend!

I have had quite a few lessons with Adam now and he has been an excellent tutor. Having done a bit of German a little while ago at GCSE, Adam has been great at bringing me back up to speed. Adam explains things in a clear and understandable way, and it is great to be able to finally understand concepts which I didn't understand before. Adam's lessons are well structured and his worksheets explain new concepts very well, with good examples to help understanding. He is always punctual and reliable, and excellent at communication.

I've now had a few online sessions with Adam, which have been excellent. I'm very much a beginner, adult learner so really needed to start with the absolute basics, which Adam has been particularly good at, compared to other tutors I have used in the past. I really feel like I'm getting to grips with the building blocks of the French language for the first time. I also particularly like Adam's worksheets, which are very well thought out and structured, so you always know what subject you're learning and how this fits with previous lessons.

He is very punctual and organised around holidays and needing to move the odd session to accommodate my work commitments. I would definitely recommend Adam for any adult leaners.

So far I’ve had just one lesson and I am very happy with the tutor. Seems a bit early to be giving a review on First Tutors!

We have found the sessions with Adam to be excellent, very informative with clear and concise examples given when further explanation is required on our part. Adam sends us all the required documentation well in advance and the sessions have been very well structured from the start. Adam communicates with us very well and the sessions are always on time. We always look forward to every session.

I have had a number of one to one lessons with Adam and he is an excellent tutor. Everything has been very professional and the teaching style and material is great. I highly recommend Adam as a tutor.

Adam is an excellent tutor. Although I've only had 4 sessions so far it feels like we've progressed very far. Adam is organised, methodical and clearly very experienced. The pace of learning is manageable, with Adam taking into account your level and learning style, and adapting sessions to suit your needs. Highly recommended!

Adam is a great teacher and makes you feel very relaxed whilst learning. His knowledge is excellent and his preparation for each lesson is very good. He is willing to let you take your time or push forward if you feel more confident on a particular part of your lesson. I have been having French lessons with Adam for a couple of months now, and he is both very knowledgeable in the subject and very reliable. He is always available for communication and to answer any questions that I have, and the materials he provides for our sessions are clear and easy to understand. Whenever I do not understand something, he takes the time to go back over and explain it to me. I am looking forward to more lessons.

I've been having weekly French lessons with Adam for several months now and he's been great. He's been really patient and has laid out a really simple plan where we cover everything at a speed that never feels rushed. Adam always picks up on areas that need more attention and works that into the lessons.

Originally our lessons were in person, however due to current events we've moved them online temporarily and I can highly recommend both.

Adam is very patient, supportive and friendly. I had very low confidence and negativity but he supported me and helped my confidence grow, my understanding has improved greatly with his help.

Myself and my partner have been receiving Spanish tuition through Adam for just over a year and have enjoyed our time together. Adam is attentive and organised and thorough is his teaching. All lessons are structured but also going at a reasonable pace which suits us .Adam has also been flexible with our busy schedules which has been greatly appreciated. Highly recommend.

I have been lucky in finding Adam as a tutor, he quickly assessed my learning needs and created a bespoke course over the 5 months I had. I am now off to Bremen to take up a Director's post confident I can deal with cope with everyday German. I feel he has accelerated me from complete beginner to close to intermediate level in the time he has been tutoring me. I would highly recommend him for anyone wishing to learn a language.

From the first contact Adam has been most informative explaining and setting out things clearly.
The lessons have been well structured and at a pace I am happy with.
Adam is very approachable and there is no problem for him to go over something again if required.
Overall I would recommend Adam for French tuition.

Adam has introduced Natalie and I into Spanish really well. We have been doing it around 6 months now and are already able to recognise plenty of words and phrases and are beginning to structure sentences.

I am not happy with this form of review. I would let you know if I had a problem and it is very early days. Adam has gone out of his way to meet my requirements and so far we are ideally suited.

I have been studying Spanish with Adam in preparation for my trip to Spain and would highly recommend him. Having started with practically no understanding of Spanish, Adam has helped me gain both confidence and knowledge in key areas of the language and has done so in a thoroughly helpful and supportive manner. His lesson preparations are structured entirely to cater for my personal ability and he is always flexible concerning the lesson content. Furthermore, Adam’s patience combined with the friendly and relaxed atmosphere he creates in lessons, has ensured that I am making excellent progress!

Adam has a lovely attitude towards teaching a novice , mature student like myself!!. He has allowed me to work at my own pace, sharing his wealth of experience and knowledge which in effect has helped me to develop a good learning outcome. Adam has a great personality and a good approach to teaching, i would not hesitate to recommend him.

Now we have had some lessons. It was very helpful.
Adam was always friendly and well prepared.
We will go forward with this Tutor in June.

I find the lessons very good. Each lesson has a topic and is not to much at once. Homework is ok but I find it hard for it to sink in, but practice makes perfect. I feel at ease with the lesson and look forward to learning more.

For various reasons, I only had the opportunity for one lesson with Adam. I very much appreciated his informal but focussed teaching method and his teaching area was well set out with a whiteboard for questions and explanations. I would certainly return to Adam for further lessons if the opportunity arose.

Adam has a good manner and is very knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain things and he does this very well. He provides very good course notes and structures the tuition to ensure that learning a new language is not quite so daunting as we had envisaged. His sessions are both relaxed and enjoyable and we are pleased with the progress we are making.

Adam is an Excellent tutor, patient and kind. He helped me a lot with my studies providing me with material in order to create an easy format for my lessons. He is helping me to build my knowledge towards the final assessment.My academic progression is much better now . It’s definitely great experience. I will always be grateful for his help.
