I offer help to adults wishing to improve their communication skills in Spanish, French, Italian or German. By doing tuition with me you could see a real improvement in your speaking skllls and confidence using the language.

Tutoring is how I earn my living, so you can be assured that during our sessions my focus would be on helping you to progress in your language learning.

Helping people to improve their language skills is something I love doing. I believe anyone can learn a language and would love to help you.

Tutoring Experience

I have been offering language tuition services since 2010. Since then I have regularly helped people to learn a new language.

I am experienced in teaching on a one-to-one basis. I also have helped people on a two-to-one basis. This means that you could learn by yourself or with someone else, such as a friend or partner.

Tutoring Approach

Progressing in a language is all about you learning to speak and communicate in an intuitive and natural way.

Prior to starting tuition many people understand some written language, but struggle when it comes to speaking the language.

With my help, you will discover how the language works and improve your confidence speaking the language.

Tuition focuses on understanding how the language works (i.e. sentence structure), pronunciation, increasing vocabulary and improving communication skills.

All lessons are designed to help you as an individual to progress in a way that suits you.

Learning would be a gradual process. There would normally be some theory or vocabulary every lesson. Naturally this would be combined with speaking practice.

Tuition is designed to enable people to increase their skills over time and grow in confidence using the language. Tuition provides the extra support people need on their language learning journey.

All tuition is offered online only. For info: Since approximately mid-March 2020 or thereabouts all language tuition has been online. Prior to then language tuition was in person. I may possibly review what is offered in the future, but tuition remains exclusively online for the foreseeable future.
