I am a teacher currently working at an outstanding school in Birmingham.
Unlike someone with just a degree you will be hiring an experienced teacher who regularly teaches classes of 30 pupils with a degree in teaching and another in science.
I have been teaching for over 7 years as a full time science teacher and year on year my class results always demonstrate incredible progress for my learners.
As a qualified teacher I am aware of all the specification requirements and different pedagogical approaches to drive progress.
I am also an Examiner for AQA which allows me to support learners not just with their knowledge but also with exam technique to gain maximum marks from exam papers.
I am able to cater for pupils with language barriers and I am multilingual. I graduated from the University of Warwick with a 1st class honours in secondary science PGCE.
I completed my BSc Honours from the University of Birmingham (2:1) in Human Biology.
I have been a science teacher at 3 different schools. I have taught OCR 21st Century and the AQA specification.
I have access to hundreds of resources, past exam papers and teaching materials to deliver a more effective teaching and learning experience.
I like my pupils to tell me beforehand what areas they require help in so that I can create a bespoke learning plan where we can address those issues that require help and look at strengthening the basics.
I am confident in delivering understanding verbally and then I like to test what we have learned by using tests to demonstrate understanding using the various formative assessment techniques I have picked up as a teacher.
