I have been taking lessons from Natalia for almost a year now. The structure she has brought to my learning was sorely needed, as prior to our lessons I had no idea how to organise my practice routine. I also appreciate how she lets me choose the pieces we work on next, which shows that she understands that playing something you like or love will yield much better results than the other way around. Her ability to identify the issues which hinder me from learning challenging sections at my full potential, break them down and suggest appropriate technical exercises to overcome them always leaves me amazed. She doesn't just focus on pieces in themselves, but on their underlining techniques and concepts which once learned, can be used in the future in any other piece. In effect, she is building my musical skill repertoire so that I am well equipped to learn on my own. Natalia is kind and patient, but she expects the same level of dedication and commitment from the student that she invests into her lessons, which is more than fair. I always look forward to the next lesson with excitement and consider her to be the best teacher I've ever had.
