Hi my Name is Jonathan and I run Music Nation Leeds

Music Nation Leeds was founded in 2012 as a way to help people to get more out of music. As well as running priva**Contact Detail Removed**ssons we run a range of group based activities and classes aimed at getting musicians together to learn and benefit from being around each other. This can include jam sessions and group learning activities to our popular band skills class and songwriting workshops.

We aim to give you more than you can get with a private tutor by giving you more opportunities to learn in different situations and at a price that suits your budget. Tutoring Experience:

All of our teachers have many years of teaching experience, both in group and private tuition. Between all of us we have works for places such as Artforms Leeds, Leeds College of Music, Roundhay Music, The British Academy of New Music, The Yorkshire School of Music, Rockschool UK and many primary and secondary schools as well as having countless hours of personal private tuition under our belts. We have experience of teaching a wide variety of different styles and also have experience of taking students to very high levels of playing we as helping work towards graded examinations with the RGT and Rockschool.

Tutoring Approach:

Whilst all of our tutors have years of experience of being professional or semi-professional musicians the main benefit to you is that they are simply all great people who take the time to listen to you and what you want to be able to do. We do not use 'cookie-cutter' method which means that we can make the lessons about what you need. Above all music is fun when learned in the right way and we strive for this at every opportunity. Finally our group sessions are a great way to meet likeminded people and many firm friendships have been made in our sessions!
