Music has been in my life since the early days. I've been playing piano since I was 6 years old, singing in a choir, and conducting since the 8th grade. I was studying in Goldsmiths university theory and practice, composition and arrangement. I enjoy teaching everyone, no matter what their age is, but most of all, I enjoy when my students achieve great results in performing!
My teaching schedule is quite busy at the moment so I might refer you to a different teacher that I am currently collaborating with.
I'm currently tutoring students that are preparing for ABRSM exam grades 1-8
Teaching at school very beginners and those who are taking exams as well.
I also prepare students forGrade 5 (and above) ABRSM Music Theory exam.

I always want to know what is the back ground of the student, what he/she was playing and what are their expectations. In my teachings scales and arpeggios are essential. Once we are able to play the music piece with both hands, we start adding dynamics and pace. The choice of music is also very important, so I always welcome new pieces that students want to play.

I am delighted I chose you as my tutor. You are reliable, conscientious, and patient, and, thanks to your guidance and encouragement, my long - held wish to learn to play the piano is finally becoming a reality. Thank you so much!
I do understand the importance of the first lesson, but we all should understand that life happens sometimes and we should understand others around us. Having to teach 60+ students every week it might go out of control on rare occasions. On the other hand, I always understand if a parent cancels a lesson just a day before because of a family emergency or other reasons.
Once again, I just wanted to explain the situation and I have offered several solutions after the cancellation, unfortunately, it was refused without a consideration.
Had never played the piano before, I am very pleased with my progress and enjoying every lesson!
