Personal Description:

Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and playing residencies in various restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world for the past five years playing jazz on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I now live in London playing regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and other jazz venues across the UK. I am currently pursuing a master’s at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching privately from my home and in schools for over 10 years.

Tutoring Approach:

Well versed in a variety of styles, I teach jazz, swing, funk, blues, R&B, pop, latin, rock and contemporary music. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to work around that. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren’t inspired enough, so my goal is to instil a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student.
