Alex is both very patient and gives great explanations on even the most intricate points. I’ve had 5 lessons with him so far and he has answered every question I’ve asked in an easy-to-understand manner, but more than this, he will ask me questions in return to help me find the answer on my own, instead of just giving it to me. I can now introduce myself, speak about my interests and hold basic conversations in Japanese after only 5 lessons, and can feel myself getting better everyday thanks to the homework tasks he assigns outside of lessons as well. I’m very impressed by him and look forward to having more lessons in the future.

Janet has been a perfect choice for my son who was repeating his French A level AS and taking French A2. Her positive friendly, firm, enthusiastic no nonsense approach is just what he needed. Janet understands teenage boys and made the lessons interesting, my son worked hard during his lessons without him realising it! We were able to have lessons at our house and at Janet's house which made life a lot easier. If you are looking for a tutor to help your child/teen, want to see them enjoy learning, with an aim to bring out the full potential then call Janet. Janet listened to what my son said, understood what I was worried about plus pointers from his teachers and created an individual lesson plan that worked!
