Edna has been my tutor for the past 8months and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed her lessons. She finds fun ways for me to learn, through songs, games, flashcards, etc. She made me feel very comfortable especially when I didn’t feel confident. She is patient, kind, encouraging, funny and most importantly very organised in terms of her structured classes. Because of her I went from not knowing any Portuguese to having basic conversations and can read and understand. I was given three lessons with Vanessa as a gift from my daughters. I really enjoyed the sessions, I feel we covered quite a lot, and what I appreciated was that Vanessa quickly grasped that, although I was a complete beginner, she didn't have to proceed from first principles with the grammar, as I could grasp that quickly from knowing French, and so we didn't waste time on things I already understood, but instead could concentrate on pronounciation (fiendish!) and vocabulary. This kind of tailored approach is what makes one to one teaching so valuable I think, especially with a good teacher which Vanessa certainly is. Muito obrigada Vanessa.

Unfortunately I could not proceed with Evandro as he teaches Brazilian Portuguese and not Portugal Portuguese. He did very quickly inform me of this during our free trial lesson. I'm sure he would make a good tutor for anyone who needs to learn Brazilian Portuguese
