Personal Description:
I have worked in IT industry for more than 28 years. I have developed software using different programming languages and technologies, this includes:
Java, J2EE, C/C++, Python, VB, SQL, JSP, Servlets, Excel VBA etc.
I am also experienced in building systems (Windows PC, Linux PCs, and Servers), fault finding and fixing computers/laptops.
Training Experience:
I am teaching college and university students, and also helping them in their IT projects and coursework from past 18 years.
Training Approach:
I have used different methodologies and techniques to teach my students as per their requirements.
I enjoy teaching, and I am very friendly with all my students. I think it is very important to think in the same as student while teaching complex theories.
I use applied and practical approach to help students to understand concepts in the computing by giving real life examples.

From Jez (/5): I have been using this personal tutor for many weeks. He has excellent communication skills and the added bonus of being very friendly. This means that in a short period of time he is more like a work colleague and as such if I have trouble understanding something I can just state this, without feeling ridiculed. Yogesh communicates all the time and he has always been understanding when I need to reschedule appointments. He is very well education in key aspects of computing, he is always on-time very friendly and polite. The training is structured and builds on each concept, although there is room to ask off topic or more advanced questions as well, which is good for someone like me as that is the way my mind works. I would recommend Yogesh to anyone. He has a clear depth of knowledge of the reasons, structures and good practices of code in many languages, as well as the ability to draw you in and make you understand why these things are important and how they apply to what you are learning.

From Lesley (/5): Yogesh has been supporting my son with Java at first year university level. My son has found his tuition excellent, his teaching methods are easy to understand and he takes time to explain principles fully in language which is easy to understand with practical examples which support this. He takes the time to ensure that he has understood each aspect before moving on and has been very patient, running over lesson times on occasion to complete a topic. My son will continue to use him to develop his Java knowledge and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other students / learners.

From Maneet Singh (/5): Yogesh has been helping me with Java and he's a fantastic and very knowledgeable tutor. By using real world examples he is able to break down complex concepts into simple ones that are easy to understand. He makes sure that you fully understand what he's teaching you and is more than happy to go over something more than once if you didn't understand it the first time around. His way of teaching has allowed me to understand Java a lot better which has effectively allowed me to enjoy programming a lot more than I used to. I would highly recommend Yogesh.

I tried for some time to find a tutor who was willing to travel to me to teach my 'games mad' son C++ (eventually!); Yogi was very accommodating and drew up an individualised programme for my son. My son tells me that he communicates well and breaks down difficult concepts so that he can understand them. Yogi is extremely polite, patient, friendly and flexible.
