Personal Description:
My name is Tayyab and I am a Computer Science Graduate who is currently perusing a Masters in Robotics and AI at the University of Birmingham.
Training Experience:
I teach part-time at Tudor Grange Academy in Solihull. I teach A Level Computer Science to sixth form students which involves creating and teaching lessons, marking work and preparing students for their exams.
Teaching A Level Computer Science has provided me a fantastic opportunity to develop my communication, organisational and public speaking skills. It has also cemented my understanding of basic Computer Science concepts.
In the summer, my year 13 students achieved excellent results in their exams.
Training Approach:
I like to teach computer science in a very applied manner. After teaching concepts, I like to apply the context in real world examples and applications. This cements the foundational knowledge as well as giving experience in coding and attempting projects. In general, I am very enthusiastic about Computer Science and this often shines through in my teaching style.
