Personal Description:
I am currently unemaployed, but am looking to set up my own small business in the near future. I have a number of years experiance working with people who have a wide range of capabilities. I have a good sense of humour and believe at HURDLES rather than OBSTACLES. The former most people overcome but the later stops people in their tracks. I am in the process of having a CRB completed and the profile will be updated soon.
Training Experience:
I have recently ceased being a voluntary tutor with Rewards Training (Sussex), for I which I had been doing for almost 2 years. During my working career I have established 2 training programs. I have tutored "Silver Surfers" as well as adults with learning difficulties
Training Approach:
My approach is simply to work at a level that my tutee needs. I always undertake an assessment of where they are and ask where they want to end up. I can break each area down into BITE SIZE sections as well as working from a larger self designed manual.
