Personal Description:

I have been working with the Internet since the mid 1980's, before the web was even a twinkle in the eye of Tim Berners Lee. All of the work I do is designed to empower the companies, businesses and individuals I work with to be able to utilise the best that the web has to offer them. I share my knowledge, skills and experience in the ways that are most appropriate.

I am particularly interested in working with Social Networking, Social Marketing, Social Media, Social Bookmarking and Social Commerce and am producing guides specifically for these areas.

Training Experience:

I run many courses for business that are all designed with one thing in mind, to give the attendees the ability to go away and do it for themselves. I also work with individuals and companies designing programmes that are specific to their needs and requirements. My own website has many client testimonials as does my **Contact Detail Removed** profile. I'm also an accredited provider of learning through the UK Register of Learning Providers (UKRLP).

I have experience in using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Wordpress, Slideshare, Delicious and many other social networking sites. All of this experience feeds into the work I undertake for clients.

Training Approach:

I believe that everyone can gain the tips, tricks and techniques that they need if they are willing to learn.

Whether, you simply want to feel more confident using email and buying groceries on-line or whether you are developing your first Wordpress website, the approach is the same; determine YOUR needs and agree how we will know when you have achieved your GOAL. Once that is determined, the training is tailored to accommodate what you already know and where you want to get to.

I use a variety of training methods that includes (but is not limited to) explaining the things you need to think about, then showing you good practice as it already exists, then demonstrating how to do it, watching you practice with me. You will then have the opportunity to practice and I will monitor what you are doing through the assessment of your 'homework'. I also provide guides and documentation as necessary.
