Personal Description:

I have been using and teaching Adobe Creative Suite products since the early 90s. I am Adobe Certified which means you can ensure that I have passed rigorous product knowledge exams for each Adobe product that I teach. I train at my home studio, offer courses live on line via Zoom and you get to keep a recording of the session and will also travel to any destination worldwide but I will need to charge extra on top of the hourly fee stated to cover travel and accommodation costs where necessary. I operate as a Ltd Co and First Tutor set up does not allow me to say an hourly rate + VAT so the hourly rate here is exclusive of VAT.

Training Experience:

I am an ACE (Adobe Certified Expert), ACI (Adobe Certified Instructor) and Adobe Design Master with 30 years + experience in the Graphic Arts, Print and Digital Design Industry. Specialising in Adobe Creative Suite Applications InDesign, InCopy, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Muse, Epubs, Colour Management, Atex™ and Woodwing™ Editorial Content Management Systems.
I have previously worked as a freelance artworker, retoucher, IT support help desk technician and studio manager so have lots and varied experience within the graphic arts industry.

Training Approach:

I believe in the old principles when it comes to training: "What I see - I forget; what I read - I remember; what I do - I understand."
So I won't bore you with endless slides and Powerpoint presentations but I dive straight into the applications and get you to do as much hands on practice as is possible. I encourage trainees to use their own projects where possible during training (although I do have structured training files to use) and hopefully you can walk away with a ready made template for your project, some working web banners or the basics of your new logo created to give a few examples.
