Personal Description:
I am a 32 year old teacher from Hove, currently living in Newhaven and working in Brighton. I am a qualified teacher who is currently working with 7-11 year olds.
Training Experience:
As an IT specialist in my job I am experienced in teaching both children and adults how to use computer applications. I use computers everyday in my job and have a lot of experience in teaching beginners.
I can advise in all areas of computing from purchasing and setting up a computer, to switching it on and getting started to using the internet, emailing and even video calling/using Skype.
I also have lots of experience using Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
Training Approach:
Working with children I have to be able to explain things with a great deal of patence and simplicity. I never mind having to explain things more than once and recognise that learning to use a computer usually means practise and not worrying about getting things wrong.
