Personal Description:

I am a highly self motivated, versatile trainer with a strong background in end user applications, both off the shelf and bespoke. I have experience in delivery, designing, developing and implementing training materials and courses, both traditionally and using CBT and Webex solutions, training needs analysis and training within projects. I am able to liaise with software suppliers and clients as well as deliver internal and external training to a range of delegates at all levels, from high management to local individuals wishing to improve their PC skills. I enjoy deadlines, problem solving and multi tasking. I work well alone or as part of a team. Keen to work with companies and learn business processes to enable me to deliver training and support to meet their specific requirements for their bespoke as well as standard applications.

Training Experience:

I have had my own business for 20 years and I teach adhoc training courses at organisations of all sizes. I have also worked for many large organisations on a contract basis as a developer (web, C++, Excel), database administrator, and as a project manager.

I have developed and delivered training in financial modelling and databases, organised bespoke training in Excel as well as developed CBT for end user learning in Summit globally.

I have delivered training all over the globe and have the practical experience to make my training relevant.

Don't be put off by the high rate for expert training. I deliver value for money and guarantee my training.

Training Approach:

I like to give lots of relevant examples to my delegates drawing on my vast experience of information technology so that they can relate what I am teaching back to their work environment and know that they can increase their efficiency back at work after having completed the course.

I teach the topics asking questions to make sure they are taking on board the new information. At the end I ask them how they could apply what they have learned at work.

I am very patient with nervous delegates and I am confident with those that are more advanced and in positions of authority.I try to create courses that will suit the audience, often asking for examples of their work before I deliver the course so that I can design it with their examples to give them even more relevant information that will help them going forward.
