Personal Description:

Last Qualification: PhD in Communication Networks (Electrical and Electronics Engineering)
PhD research topic was more related to IT field (more specifically to information and network security area).

Have attended a number of IT courses and professional courses (including CCNA). Because of my excellent academic record (above 80% makrs throughout academic career) I received scholarships in my A-levels, BSc-Engineering Degree and PhD (fully funded).
Subjects like Maths, Physics, Combined Science, Electronics and Computers have always remained my favourite subjects and through out my career I secured above 90% marks in these subjects (many times 100% marks as well).

Have a number of publications and achievements (including achievements in teaching).

Training Experience:

Experience in design and development of websites, databases, softwares and IT **Contact Detail Removed**. Have also experienc in report and proposal writing. Attended the followin courses:

Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA)
Attended a number of courses for improving the teaching skills (many of them at Loughborough University, UK)
One year teaching experience (as a lecturer) in an engineering university
6 years of tutoring experience
I have taught a number of Engineering and IT courses e.g. courses on mathematics, physics, combined sciences and subjects related to engineering degree like electomagnetic fields, Computer networks, communication networks, electonics, microprocessors, micro-controllers. Besides this I have a one year teaching experience in an engineering university. I was also given an award and a certificate for my outstanding performance.

Training Approach:

The best thing about my teaching is that I explain things the different topics of science and other subjects by taking their analogies from practical life and by examples. My procedure is that after I teach the first lecture, I inform the parents that based on my first lecture, if they think that I am suitable then inform me (through phone etc) otherwise dont inform me. If they dont like my teaching, I dont charge them for the first lecture. Not informing me will mean that I am not be a better choice. But uptill now to whom ever I taught my first lecture they phoned me. In tutoring first of all I want to know the level of the student. Then I bring my self to that level. Through out my teaching I consider the level of the student, trying to explain the things which can cause confusion or which can raise a question in the students mind. At the same time I encourage the student to ask any question. At regular intervals I keep on asking questions from the student in order to know if he is picking the idea. This also helps me in keeping my self at the level of the student. I make full use of IT to help students understand the topic. For this, I make use of the computer and educational softwares and searching other relevant materials on the internet. This helps the student to have a better idea of the subject. In short I want to communicate a strong theoretical knowledge supported by applications and practical examples from every day life.

A simple example:
For example most IT students can not get a clear picture of the concept of data, bandwidth, bit rate etc. In order to make the things simple for them, first I make analogies like analogy of road width for bandwidth, analogy of traffic for data etc. Then I also show them different videos which would show that how the routing in the internet works and would also give them practical examples along with the in-depth theoretical knowledge.
