Personal Description::
A Cuban Salsa, Freestyle (i.e. in the Club or social events), Wedding choreography dance instructor with a passion for dancing and a background in Latin, Afro and R&B styling. My lessons goes beyond learning the moves as I look to help you build confidence and understand 'Rhythm'. With me you will learn how to identify and match your movement to it in your own unique way. With me you will not only learn how to dance but also proper styling so you look good doing what you do :).
Dance Instruction/Teaching Experience::
Dance tutor since 2013. I have taught all over the UK in London, Liverpool, Manchester and Cheshire; successfully getting many my clients club ready after only handful of lessons.
Teaching Approach::
My approach is all about finding that balance between being technical and having fun. Many tutors focus solely on teaching you how to spin or be spun that they forget that you are dancing to have a good time and to entertain your partner. I also place high importance on looking good and building self-confidence so anything to explore your show personality and unique style will be encouraged. I generally take my students out to various salsa events for free after a few lessons because there is no greater feeling for me than watching them blossom on the dance floor.
Further note my fee is £50 per hour and the sessions can be between 1.5hour and 4hours duration at the student's choice.
Note that I do not use a dance studio for cost savings reasons, instead, all my lessons are taught in person at my client's house or chosen location. No additional cost for my travel. Studio space can however be arranged from as little as £8 per hour at multiple locations around London.
Multiple/Extended lesson fees can be negotiated.
All lessons will ofcourse be performed with COVID safety in mind. Happy to discuss how we may work this in based on the space available.

From Alison (/5): My Fiancée and I had our first lesson yesterday and absolutely loved it! Paul started the lesson really helping us to understand how salsa is constructed. By the end of our lesson Paul had us doing a cross body move and two different turns. To all ladies desperate for their partner to dance with them and lead, Paul is the answer! From Josh (/5): Paul is a brilliant teacher. I had a couple of 90-min lessons with him and was blown away. He is very friendly and relaxed, which helped me to feel completely at ease. Paul has a good structure for approaching dance for a beginner like me. Within 30 minutes I already had a few 'aha' moments and was making good progress. I have been so inspired that I've now taken up salsa (from being a complete beginner and nervous to dance). I cannot recommend Paul highly enough, and I'm looking forward to having more lessons with him once I'm a bit further along in my salsa journey,

From Ramneet (/5): I contacted Paul to teach me Salsa for my Cuba holiday and he did an amazing job. I only had time for about 3-4 lessons before travelling but already I am at improver level. Paul is an amazing teacher. Very patient, punctual and he makes learning Salsa so easy. I would definitely recommend Paul for a fun salsa learning experience.

From Can (/5): Paul is an amazing Salsa teacher! I started out as a complete beginner and was able to learn a lot in only 1.5 hours. My girlfriend, who had taken several Salsa lessons before, even thought that Paul was the best Salsa teacher she had taken lessons at so far. In general it also was a very fun evening!

From Victoria (/5): He such a wonderful teacher , I was so desperate when I took on Paul to be my teacher I was shooting my official video to my song I'm a winner on Sunday , I explained my urgency he came gave me 2hrs lesson and lots of home work next day Saturday morning he was here with me again on Sunday my video shoot I delivered the salsa dance from not knowing anything to been admired on set I'm ever so grateful, and even now he still comes to help me out , he's reliable patient and trustworthy not greedy at all
Paul made us feel good dancers even if we're not let's be honest! He is patient, adapt to your level, fun, really good dancer! We are extremely happy and spent a very good time with him. Highly recommended and we hope to meet him again in the future!
