Personal Description::
Back in 2014 I graduated from The Urdang Academy with a 1st Class BA Hons in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre, and went on to earn a Distinction in her MA in Musical Theatre at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and Level 2 CYQ in Exercise to Movement instruction.
Over the past 10 years I have taught contemporary, jazz, tap, ballet, musical theatre, and exercise to music from babies to adults at stage schools, mainstream schools and evening classes. I have delivered facilitation in UK schools, as well as having worked internationally facilitating dance and performing arts in schools and arts centres and preparing students for large scale performances. I have run my own thriving dance and theatre school for the past 5 years. As a private tutor for both children and adults, I have had success gaining students places on prestigious degree courses at vocational institutions as well as preparing students for examinations and couples for their first dances!
Dance Instruction/Teaching Experience::
I have 10 years experience private dance tutoring in multiple disciplines from ages 2-adult and have led adult dance/aerobics classes and dance/musical theatre classes for preschool, primary and secondary age children, both within stage schools and mainstream schooling. I ran ADC CIC from 2017-2021, delivering community classes and workshops throughout London in conjunction with various charities and organisations to bring dance opportunities to a wider audience. I now run thriving dance and theatre school North London Stars in Finchey and have enjoyed watching my students progress as my school has grown.
Teaching Approach::
My private coaching sessions are carefully tailored to each individual students level, needs, and goals. Over the years I have developed a fun and engaging approach intended to inspire confidence in my students so that they can perform at their best and make progress. I am sensitive to the physical and educational needs of each individual student and structure my approach accordingly.
As a performer myself, I bring valuable, up to date knowledge and experience from my work in theatre into the classroom and have a great professional network to call on. I am fully DBS checked, safeguarding trained, first aid trained and PLI insured.
I generally teach in and around North London and can either make arrangements for studio hire for you or discuss travelling to your home.

It was just a timing issue that another instructor on First Tutor just happened to have availability on the days and times I wanted, she also lives/teaches quite close to me, which was also an advantage.
