Information about Emma - Newton Abbot instructor

Personal Description::

I am a professionally trained dancer, actor and musical theatre performer and am currently a full time model, actor, dancer and dance teacher.

Since graduating I have been a dancer in films to be released throughout 2021, have had small feature roles in **Contact Detail Removed**vision series', have participated in various voice over work, have been the face of acting campaigns, have been a lead in a short film, where I won Best Actress in a New York Film Festival, and have also modelled full time for a variety of styled shoots.
I absolutely love the performance industry and adore teaching students from the age of 3 all the way up to 18 and over.

My versatile career enables me to create exciting classes for my students who thrive off new material and I hope to spread this enthusiasm and love for the arts to even more students of varying ages.

I am a passionate performer and this is proven in my teaching technique. I am a very approachable person with a bubbly personality and driving enthusiasm for exploring and enhancing the potential and artistic flare in students of all ages and abilities.

Dance Instruction/Teaching Experience::

I have multiple years of teaching experience and since graduating have had a permanent job at two weekend performing arts school as their early stage and main stage dance teacher and choreographer.
I have an enhanced DBS and have taken the relevant child protection training, so you can be rest assured that your child will be safe in my company.
I have taught ages from 3+ and am very experienced in teaching those who are beginners, those looking to explore a new hobby, those who wish to improve their technique and those who wish to take their hobby and turn it into a profession. I have taught at various Summer and Winter workshops and have provided a variety of themes, all of which my students embody fully with the upmost enthusiasm. I am highly skilled in teaching most styles of dance and would love the opportunity to explore the exciting technical and performance aspects of various dance disciplines with an array of individuals.

Teaching Approach::

I have a very professional yet exciting approach to teaching, my classes have a warm atmosphere and I encourage each student to really push themselves to achieving a new goal in each class. Whether I have students looking to improve their confidence, there to enjoy their hobby, or focusing on turning this into a profession, you can be guaranteed that I like to challenge a student to their technical and performance limits, enabling them to see a clear improvement in themselves by the end of each session. I also encourage parents/guardians to drop in on class so that you can witness your child's development, this also creates an 'audience' atmosphere for your child to be encourage to perform.

I educate my students on the safe and correct way to warm up for a class, spend time dedicated to improving their technique, which is the core to all dance disciplines, and always finish my sessions with a routine that is stylistic, engaging and so much fun to execute.
