I have been teacher/trainer since 1999 in English & Business and have been an Associa**Contact Detail Removed**cturer at Oxford Brookes University for 7 years on the BA(Hons) Business & Management. Can also tutor on A Level/BTec.

I write and deliver courses for Adult Learning at Abingdon & Witney College.

I have also been working in industry for many years and help small businesses to set up their company and offer ongoing support and mentoring.

From Amed (1/5): Jessica stated on her profile that she would use plenty of examples, case studies, and news articles, as well as using platforms like Skype or Zoom for sessions. Actually she never provided such a service like that. The night before the meeting Jessica kept pushing for the payment of £36 and once the payment made she asked me to send over drafts so she would look my draft before the meeting. For the next morning, we were supposed to go through my draft at 11 am I was waiting on her to get in touch by which she never did so around 11.10 am I called her on WhatsApp she didn’t pick up, instead sent a text and said that she is reviewing my draft and around 12 Jessica sent another text on WhatsApp and stating that she had emailed me back my draft with her comments on it. So that was Jessica’s service. After I started asking Jessica for a full refund as she did not provide the service she said she would, and Jessica started calling me rude and disrespectful which I never was. Therefore, I do not recommend Jessica at all.

Reply from: Jessica: There has been a misunderstanding as I kept asking the student to provide me with the assignment brief and details of the task so I could see what needed to be done. But he didn’t. I provide a service which is adapted to the student’s needs- sometimes it is tutoring and involves a meeting or it is to review work and add comments/ references / examples and advise on areas for improvement. I try to respond quickly and in this instance Amed was texting me late at night but I was still responding to help him out at the last minute. I do require payment on booking. I did find Amed to be rude in his messages and quite shocked by his response. I am a Senior Lecturer with about 13 years of working in universities and this is my first complaint. I spent an hour on Amed’s work as confirmed with the him.
