Personal Description:

My qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Information systems, a PGCE, QTS, NQT a Vocational Assessor A1 award and CTP IT-Professional trainer. I hold a Prince 2 certificate in Project Management and have project managed medium and small sized projects, run a small IT business selling bespoke solutions, and worked in business to business within a Chamber of Commerce. I have an astute business acumen with a customer focused approach to management of business delivery and implementation.

I developed and delivered blended learning training courses for ‘Train the Trainer’, Vocational Apprenticeships and accredited qualifications for 14 – 19 years Additional Curriculum programmes.

I have also delivered business training courses from basic to advanced level on Business Management, Marketing, Branding Customer Services, Microsoft Office, and ECDL, to local business to meet quality assurance training initiatives

I have exceptional understanding of learning development coaching and training management holding qualifications to include a PGCE, QTS, NQT a Vocational Assessor A1 award and CTP IT-Professional trainer. I have been successful in a range of different roles that include an Educational Project Manager, Qualified Teacher, an E-learning Consultant, and CPD Trainer.

After gaining my Qualified Teacher Status (QTS & NQT) and an awarded British Computer Society Scholarship in 2014, I am a fully qualified teacher in Business Studies and Computer Science and developed new on-line curriculum for a range of Business Enterprise courses that includes Business Management, Conflict management, Marketing, Branding and Customer Services. In computer Science I have produced and taught Computer Science courses that included programming with Assembly Language. Python, SQL, BBC Basic, Scratch, HTML, JavaScript and LOGO.

Training Methods:

Many avenues exist to training but the key is to match the training method to the person and I use Blended learning as a common-sense approach that results in great learning success.

The blended learning approach is simply acknowledging that one size doesn't fit all when it comes to training and I offer on-line learning along with classroom or one to one coaching depending upon available facilities and circumstances. My training and learning approach methodology is varied but with an advocacy of experiential learning for electronic, on the job or off the job training methods.
