QUALIFIED; EXPERIENCED; CORPORATE; ADULT; TEENAGER trainer and life coach. I have worked in various settings from 1 - 1 to large groups; from private individuals to corporate, and in a variety of settings including Champneys Health Resorts, Vauxhall, colleges and HMP establishments. Primarily focusing on health and wellbeing in education with the understanding and training of neuroplasticity through Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), to promote the belief and achievement from stress - calm; anxiety - relaxed; overwhelm - acceptance.
Training Specialisms:
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) in health and education. 20 years in education, 15 of which focusing on a healthy mind, for healthy learning. Clear communication is key to a successful working environment. Working with mind body connections of neuro plasticity enables individuals to move from unhealthy states to healthy states with relative ease and therefore increase productivity and achievements. Language is a key focus on health and wellbeing: verbal and non-verbal. These skills can be delivered 1:1 or in group settings. Courses can be run bespoke or choose from a pre designed package.

NLP - how language influences our beliefs in life and business. Best delivered as a group.

Life Coaching - recognise that you are stuck and I will support you in the changes you wish to make; either for you as an individual or for your business.
English Language training: Communication Skills either as a whole group or 1 - 1 for specific needs. Either as a first or second language.

We have started tuition quite late and Elizabeth was able to organise the lessons to cover necessary GCSE material my daughter had problems with. She had boosted her confidence , strengthened her knowledge and improved her exam skills. Elizabeth’s lessons are well structured with a possibility to be flexible when necessary. She is very easy to communicate with and responds promptly to any queries. Elizabeth’s support and encouragement meant a lot to my daughter.

From Fraser (/5): I contacted Elizabeth through First tutors as I was looking for an English Tutor for my son with ADD to support with his learning and forthcoming exams. I spoke with Elizabeth and was pleased with her experience and approach and also with her feedback from previous students ,which was excellent. The process to set up lessons was made easy as Elizabeth is very organised and my son starts his tutoring next week and look forward to working with Elizabeth.

It was very clear to me from the start that Elizabeth is a very experienced tutor who has a great deal of knowledge handling children (and probably adults alike) needing to improve their skills. I've found Elizabeth to be very organised, an excellent communicator, patient and excellent at getting in touch with the motivators which have encouraged my daughter feel much happier and confident about the English tasks her school have been asking of her.
As parent, I imagined it would be difficult to know whether the tutor was worth the money without sitting in the background in attendance of every lesson (which I wouldn't do) - Elizabeth must understand this from the parents point of view as she has an excellent way of keeping parents informed with emails very quickly after each session ends. Initially Elizabeth's profile caught my eye because of her NLP skills and I'm really pleased to say that I have no regrets in making contact and arranging the lessons we have.
If there was any feedback I could offer it would be to FirstTutors whose website is quite basic and not very supportive at matching student to tutor before money changes hands. That said - the match turned out well for me and I hope it does you too.

Though we did discuss a number of options I can appreciate that it can be difficult, given that I am in demand, to find a booking when the client has limited availability. Since I've introduced an online booking system it makes it much easier to find a time to suit. I also appreciate that investing in tutoring is a big commitment and in order to see results you have to commit. Wishing you every success.

In a very short space of time we have seen a huge improvement in our son's writing ability and overall confidence in English language (and just generally in himself !). Elizabeth promptly provides feedback after every tuition session and is always happy to discuss any matters further. She is very knowledgable of all aspects of the GCSE syllabus/examination technique and has really inspired our son to enjoy English language (a real first for him). Would thoroughly recommend !

She had to retake her GCSE English Lang in November but due to timetable clashes at her school she could not attend the retake lessons in the sixth form. Luckily for us we were able to book a series of lessons (multiple ones each week) over a number of weeks before the exam.
Our daughter found Elizabeth an excellent teacher because she explained how to answer the exams questions in a why that she understood, which the school had failed to do over two years. Our daughter is very strong on the Maths front and I think the quote from her 'Elizabeth has taught me the formula to answer the questions' says it all. The formula being to approach English with inquisitiveness and thrill rather than the robotic fashion in school. As a result she passed her re-take and we are very pleased.

From Ware (/5): Elizabeth was very responsive to my initial enquiry which was very much appreciated as I needed to arrange a tutor for my twins who have different needs for their forthcoming English GCSE's. Elizabeth has quickly assessed how best to address those different needs and engaged with my children in a positive and supportive way. They have both said that she has helped them improve already, which only after 4 sessions is very promising.
