I am a highly experienced teacher in the Richmond/Reeth/Catterick area. I teach maths and English. I will create a bespoke program of learning for your child. My tutoring will give your child confidence as well as fill any gaps they may have, or give them the skills to achieve good grades in exams or achieve a scholarship to private school. I also am highly skilled at teach send, autistic and adhd children. I tutor online or in person and am happy to travel to you.
Tutoring Experience
I have worked in both private and state schools for almost 30 years and have a wealth of experience in teaching children of different ages (pre-school to year 6) and abilities. I have worked with both 'gifted' children and children with dyslexia or autism. I have also had many enjoyable years tutoring privately at my home and home schooling children in a range of subjects. I nurture children's confidence and self-esteem and their ability to become independent learners. Whether your child needs help in a specific area, a boost in confidence or the skills to pass an entrance test, I am here to help.
Tutoring Approach
I initially assess where your child is at and then create a personalised program to fill any gaps your child might have and to move their learning on. In the process your child will gain confidence and an increase in self-motivation as suddenly work is well understood. Learning will be rapid and enjoyable.
