Gian is an energetic, enthusiastic and competent tutor. All his lessons are well prepared, accompanied by useful and diverse teaching materials. With Gian’s energy, we always use the 60 minute lesson to the maximum, doing and learning as much as we possibly could. Additionally , Gian always makes the greatest effort to make him self available and adjust to my time table. He is very reliable. Starting with relatively basic Italian, I feel much more confident with my tenses and grammar after only 3 weeks of lessons- he always makes sure to correct if needed :)

I cannot recommend Laura highly enough. As a teacher myself, I am very aware of the capabilities, dedication and enthusiasm required to impart knowledge and Laura fulfils all of these criteria and more. Laura is not only very knowledgeable about the Italian language as one would expect from a native speaker, but she is also extremely skilled at explaining points of grammar and her lessons are always meticulously prepared and the level of difficulty is gauged by the level of proficiency of the student. There is also great variety in her lessons with a mixture of grammar, oral, aural and reading components and lessons move at an appropriately brisk pace. After each lesson, Laura sends me a copy of the main points covered and also homework. The lessons are online which, until the current pandemic, I would not have favoured, but having taught classes online since March, I realise how beneficial they can be, both with regard to saving time and also as a learning medium. For anyone wishing to learn Italian, I would certainly choose Laura .

Excellent tutor! I chose Giancarlo to help me improve my italian after university, and I must say it was the a great choice. He is a great teacher, patient and able to adapt the lessons to my level and speed of learning. The lessons are fun and we focus on whatever I'm currently interested in - that gives me even more motivation to continue studying on my own after each lesson :) Highly recommend!
