He came to each session with lots of material prepared and tailored to my interests and grammatical needs. His English is also excellent and so if the learner's Italian is not so good communication will not be an issue. I wholeheartedly recommend him to any learner of Italian, be they beginner or more advanced!

Gian is an energetic, enthusiastic and competent tutor. All his lessons are well prepared, accompanied by useful and diverse teaching materials. With Gian’s energy, we always use the 60 minute lesson to the maximum, doing and learning as much as we possibly could. Additionally , Gian always makes the greatest effort to make him self available and adjust to my time table. He is very reliable. Starting with relatively basic Italian, I feel much more confident with my tenses and grammar after only 3 weeks of lessons- he always makes sure to correct if needed :)
