Foremost, I would like to take the opportunity to thank Sumon for the enormous support he has been to my son, being his tutor, guide and mentor. I had got in touch with Sumon through FirstTutors when scouring various websites for tutoring assistance with Grade 12 Math for my son. Opposed to my expectation of the standard ‘to the point’ conversation when he first met up with my son and I, Sumon spent the whole time talking to my son, wanting to know his likes, wants, learning practices, future ambitions etc, all with the intention of customizing his tutoring approach. Going by what I hear from my son, Sumon’s approach is not focused on getting you from point A to point B, but ensuring you understand why you need to make that journey, what tools or means are available to you, and thinking for yourself of possible outcomes or solutions. Owing to this, my son now fully understands and enjoys his lessons, altering his way of thinking to focus on the approach and not just the end result (his words!!). Again, I really appreciate and thank Sumon for his support and selfless dedication. His immense energy, enthusiasm, and passion for tutoring places him a class above the others in what he does.
