Personal Description:

As a physics tutor, my goal is to use analytical skills and knowledge of science to impart successful study strategies onto students. I have a passion for science and a dedication to learning. Those are traits I hope to pass on to students. By giving students the support and motivation they require, they can gain the confidence needed to conquer a subject that seemed impossible at first.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology plus a minor in chemistry. I have tutored a variety of high school level science courses that include learning about the basics of the laws of motion and thermodynamics to more complex college level subjects like Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to being a physics tutor is to modify my teaching styles and strategies to best accommodate a student. I enjoy turning a student's personal enthusiasm into a sense of motivation. To help a student stay engaged, I find out their interests, then incorporate that into the material to help them to stay engaged.
