My approach is tailored to each student' need. It is geared to help the student understand the fundamental logic or thinking process behind the problem.
Most often I have witnessed diligent students trying to jump to conclusion in mathematics or physics without grasping the fundamental behind the topic
Practice makes any skill perfect and it is especially true for Mathematics. I consult a variety of sources to pose challenging and interesting questions to my students so that she/he can think beyond his/her school syllabus and prepare for college/university admission.

I had got in touch with Sumon through FirstTutors when scouring various websites for tutoring assistance with Grade 12 Math for my son. Opposed to my expectation of the standard ‘to the point’ conversation when he first met up with my son and I, Sumon spent the whole time talking to my son, wanting to know his likes, wants, learning practices, future ambitions etc, all with the intention of customizing his tutoring approach. Going by what I hear from my son, Sumon’s approach is not focused on getting you from point A to point B, but ensuring you understand why you need to make that journey, what tools or means are available to you, and thinking for yourself of possible outcomes or solutions. On marks: before Sumon took him under his wings (from Dec 2017) our son was averaging 78% in Math. Today, our son is on a consistent +92% - with his class (**Web Address Removed** 10) working at a median of 78% in Math.
