I am qualified teacher and Head of Department with wealth of experience in classroom teaching range of KS3, KS4 and KS5 Mathematics classes. I enjoy working with young people, developing their love for learning and knowledge. I am passionate about Mathematics and enjoy working with students to encourage curiosity and ask questions in order to deepen their understanding of the subject.

Tutoring Experience

For past decade I taught in Secondary Schools in UK teaching students of various ability from age of 11 all the way to A level. My students always perform above national average and meet or exceed their targets. Still working in education, I am well aware of strains students are under and am able to equip them with strategies to manage their workload and expectations. I have also worked several years as GCSE examiner for Edexcel exam board which makes me ideally suited to help students prepare for their exams.

Tutoring Approach

I encourage students to develop deeper understanding of various Maths topics through careful questioning and continuous assessment of student's work. Focusing on clearing any misconceptions by simple explanations and examples, building skills through regular practice, enabling student to apply those skills to various questions and scenarios.
