I am an experienced and successful teacher specialising in Early Years, Key Stage One, Phonics and early reading and writing.
I am a mother of three currently working from home to deliver online tutoring to help families and children impacted by lockdown.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 20 years teaching experience in Primary and Infant schools in the UK. I have taught all Primary year groups and I specialise in teaching 4-8 year olds. I have a successful record of helping children to learn to read, write and develop early maths skills.
I am very successful in teaching phonics and preparing for the Year One phonics screening check.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that working on a 1-1 basis will make a huge difference to your chiId's progress as well as to their confidence and self esteem.
I will firstly work with you and your child to identify the areas that we will focus on and I will then plan personalised lessons tailored to your child's needs.
I am a very caring and positive teacher who uses a child focused approach to my tutoring. I make lessons fun and creative whenever possible and I like to incorporate games, songs and stories in my teaching.
