I recently left teaching to peruse a career in web development. However, I miss my students and would love to continue to share my love of computer science and ICT with them through tutoring.
I taught GCSE computer science for three years in a secondary school.
I like to make learning fun and engaging. I know how important recall is to aid memory so I use a lot of recall techniques such as short quizzes and quick-fire questioning. I also focus lots on exam questions and perfecting the technique to answer them. I know coding is a challenge to many students so this would also be a big focus. However, sessions can and will be adapted depending on what is best for the student.
