I am an experienced A-level chemistry teacher, graduated from King's College London. I have always enjoyed chemistry from my sixth form experience and have developed a passion for the subject. I have previously had management responsibilities including Head of Chemistry and have gone back to teaching in the classroom as it is more enjoyable and rewarding.
I have been teaching A-level chemistry predominantly OCR A for over 19 years in sixth form colleges in London. I have also been an OCR examiner, teach AQA GCSE Chemistry and have international experience teaching in a sixth form college abroad.
I have a constructivist approach to teaching, I will use the resources I have developed over the last 19 years, helping students to understand the fundamental principles and ultimately going onto stretching and challenging students, where the students will be able to think for themselves and ask questions.
This will enable students to access the higher grade questions in the exams. I have excellent tools for online teaching and it will be like teaching face to face, the student will not know the difference.
Like to see students enjoying the subject and they are able to understand the more conceptual topics.
