Tutoring Experience

I have been privately tutoring for three months now and am still building my experience. I will capitalise on the upcoming academic year which will allow me to not only build my experience but also to develop greater knowledge and awareness of the various methods to help students succeed whether it's in relation to building confidence, mastering exam techniques or breaking down and understanding difficult theoretical concepts.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that tutoring is not only about helping student improve their academic progress but so much more. It's about discovering confidence and improving self esteem and this is where my role as a tutor comes into play. My style of teaching is to guide students in their studies whilst gaining confidence and discovering their potential to solve hard problems and tackle difficult questions in a friendly and outgoing environment that allows students to open up and be confident in asking for help and seeking clarification for issues they find difficult. Not only will this help students to improve their academic progress but I believe such an approach will give them the necessary confidence to take care of themselves beyond the classroom and examination hall.
