I'm currently doing English Literature as part of my A-Levels and plan to do this at University too. I love reading, writing, and lots of things to do with literature in general! I love taking walks and watching movies with my friends :)

Tutoring Experience

I've done work experience at a primary school and I've consistently helped out family and friends with their English skills.

Tutoring Approach

My focus is on the student and better understanding where they think their strengths and weaknesses are. Once we find this together, we can work on honing specific skills by looking at extracts and sample answers, as well as practicing and working on essay writing. Homework will be mandatory reading in addition to any other set questions set, because I believe reading is the best way for students to better understand their ways around a text.
