Yucong

Yucong is a highly qualified teacher and concert pianist based in London. She holds an Artist Masters degree from Guildhall School of Music & Drama and a Bachelor of Music in piano performance from New England Conservatory, both of which are among the top 10 conservatories in the world. Yucong is an ardent advocate for new music and enjoys playing chamber music, especially in contemporary music. She has collaborated with animators and sound designers and has performed in various venues in Italy, China, and the UK, including IKLECTIK, Dartington Hall, and the Spanish Embassy in London.As an international concert pianist, Yucong has a wide range of repertoire from Bach to Saariaho. She is an active performer and has played in various prestigious venues, such as Jordan Hall, Isabella Steward Gardner Museum, and Black Box theatre.

Tutoring Experience

Yucong started teaching piano during her masters and has worked in Saturday music schools. She has helped her students successfully pass their ABRSM exams. Yucong specialises in working with adult students and students of grade 8 and above, and understands the unique challenges that come with teaching at this level.
